Rancho Santa Margarita is a city located in the American state of California, in Orange County. It was incorporated on January 1, 2000.It was known to be the site of the emergence of the hard rock Velvet Revolver supergroup in 2002 by former members of Guns N' Roses, Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, together with Dave Kushner, former member of the hardcore punk Wasted Youth band and Scott Weiland of the Stadium one Temple Pilots.
